HI! I just posted, and now I’m posting again because my husband watches football, which bores me to death, and I completed my housework AND baked cookies. I am IRL Ninja. So! We left off with not much happening except Traci graced our household by stalking Cyrus home from school one day. I loved her so much, that I immediately elected Cyrus new TH. Let’s see what’s happened shall we? *HINT* not much — AT FIRST!
Celine paints. Having rolled artistic, it’s almost all she does! I haven’t spent a lot of time with Sims I don’t micromanage (hence the allure of an ISBI challenge) and I’ve had artistic Sims before, but never left alone. She paints. A LOT. She’s finished six paintings all on her own. I have to keep using Bettina to sell or hang them, but wow! She’s like, level 5 all on her own, so Bettina signed her up for Art Club. I ❤ Celine. If I’d never met Traci, she’d be TH fo sho.
I did some boring house remodeling, and now there’s a chess table. Keeping in mind Leif’s LTW for that thing that masters three skills, I try to do things that allow him to skill all the time. So boring married couple plays chess.
Bettina: “Boring? Rubbish! Can’t you see my fancy work clothes?
Of course I can Bettina.
No one cares.
And then like, three of the four household members want a damn water slide – but I know it’s almost as bad as the damned rocking chair, so I’m hesitant… BUT!
(Author’s Note: OMFG there’s a bug! I HATE HATE HATE all bugs. I respect them, but they scare me and I can’t help that… the end.)
So — seriously, they just do boring Sim things forever – there’s nothing noteworthy at all. I mean – even the things I’ve shared already are pretty BORING! I mean LOOK! WOW!
And Bettina has worked REALLY hard at cooking and recipes and can make SO many things!
Including Cyrus’ favorite, Vegetarian Fish & Chips!
Aw, he’s cute. Although I can’t imagine what vegetarian fish is like.
And look! It’s AmyWan!
It was hard to get a good shot, and surprisingly, she’s not behaving like most gnomes and completely blocking the door. HARK! What does she see? (Hint? Hedgerow. Lots of hedgerow.)
So – I should’ve been taking lots of photos of Leif while he was in the “undercover” branch of his career, because he appears in EVERY OUTFIT EVER, but here he is, and I found it noteworthy because The Zales Are So Boring Right Now!
Things get slightly more interesting
What’s this? A birthday? But for WHOM!?
And are there TWO CAKES? And is that Traci? (No. She does NOT have a plumbob over her head. I… Have no idea how that happened.) OKAY! I cheated her into the active household because I loves her so much. But I never controlled her or did anything more than recolor her clothes. And doesn’t everyone LOVE the incense from China?
Cyrus get’s some new clothes… And side burns.
And I took FOREVER on his clothes and still hate them, but love the sideburns. Cyrus rolled “Athletic” to add to his photographer’s eye, neurotic, absent minded self. Oh, and he’s socially awkward too, Like Abraham was. We picked “Scientific Specialist” and why it was an option, I’m not totally sure, but I hated all the other ones, especially the photography ones. I’ve seen so many bloggers struggle with it, that I steered clear. I don’t love this one either, but I’m trying to do new things. So Scientific Specialist is mastering the science skill, (which I had to google like a n00b) and reach level ten of one of three different careers. Science, Medical, or Business. Cyrus rolled a wish to join business, and even though his grandfather had gone that route, he switched to mayor as an elder. So Cyrus can attempt business as well.
So, just like alchemy – but somewhat better – I don’t like weird things in my house. So I built this!
Science station, a bathroom, laundry, work out machine, easel, and the good ol’ red wagon. I like it, which is good, since my new TH will be spending a lot of time here.
NOW – I did the building and VERY little Simming while setting up for the wedding.
This is Bettina Zales last post as TH – she’s level 8 of her LTW related career. Hopefully she can do it on her own. And as much as I adore her, I’m ready to witness a new brood for Generation D – So, it’s time to bid adieu to Bettina, and hello Cyrus. And I promise things will get more exciting!
