Goodbye Alejandro 7.8

HI THERE!  Last time in the Zale house, Alejandro continued to be an abusive jerk, and well, perhaps we say goodbye?  BUT FIRST, we begin with…

… One very popular fish tank.
Screenshot
All of these Zales have queued up “feed”… I have no idea why.

Then Graham stopped by and rang the bell…
Screenshot-2
…even though he was sleepy.  However, Giles was at work, so Graham just had to stand there until he went home.  Sorry man.  😦

Inside, the teens work on their homework.
Screenshot-3
I always approve of homework.

Alejandro tries to get back in our good graces…
Screenshot-4
…but NO!  Sorry Harold.  I hope you sleep well!

Then I found Helen walking around, and realized it was Flora’s hair.
Screenshot-5
So I have to fix it!

FIXED!
Screenshot-6
I haven’t used this hair in awhile, so we’re good!  And she’s still SO BEAUTIFUL!  HELEN!

And here’s her nighttime hair…
Screenshot-7
Which I love, because we all know we take our hair down at night.  No matter how messy.

When Giles got home from work, he had rolled a wish to “use a rocking chair”…
Screenshot-8
…SORRY SHELLEY!  OCCUPIED!

But the next morning, Shelley has snagged the rocking chair, Flora and Jerkface are at work, and all the children are at school…
Screenshot-9
…so Giles makes a phone call.

*DING DONG*
Screenshot-10
HI MEREDITH!

Giles rolled a wish to “slide on the waterslide with Meredith” so…
Screenshot-11

WEEE!!!
Screenshot-12
SUPER MEREDITH!!!

Meredith had to run, for some unknown reason, and very unfortunately, BUT…
Screenshot-13
…There’s something we need to attend to.

**BEGIN GILES/ALEJANDRO DIVORCE SEQUENCE**
First, just a chat…
Screenshot-14
But then things go bad… QUICKLY
Screenshot-15
All that Giles did here, was “mean high five” which is really just a “Hey!  High five!  Too slow, bro” … And well… check out Al’s reaction…
Screenshot-16

Oh man, poor Giles.
Screenshot-17
He looks hurt.  And sad.  All over a prankster high five.

And then, Alejandro ROSSI (he is SO NOT A ZALE) behaves exactly like I expected.
Screenshot-18
I’m almost relieved.  I mean, if he had been sad, or demure, or sympathetic, it would have been a little more difficult.  BUT LOOK AT HIM!  Giles gave him a fake high five, and he goes STRAIGHT to spousal abuse.  I hate you, Alejandro Rossi.

BE ANGRY GILES!
Screenshot-19
WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!

Giles argues with Al about his overreaction…
Screenshot-20

Then he recoils in fear…
Screenshot-21

Look at him… Our TCTBE is also too sweet to be evil.  He’s afraid.
Screenshot-22
It breaks my heart.  </3

It’s okay Giles, it’ll be over soon, but FIRST…
Screenshot-23
Al continues to hurt our Giles.

AND WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
Screenshot-24

IT’S OVER!!!!
Screenshot-25
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And Alejandro?
Screenshot-26
He proves how incredibly terrible he truly is, and just shrugs off his DIVORCE.

Talk to the hand, Alejandro…
Screenshot-27
… You’re OUTTA HERE!

And of course, the children all suffer from this…
of course

But it’s all worth it, when we lay our eyes upon…
NO AL!
Zale portrait panel WITH NO ALEJANDRO!  YAYAYAY!!!!

The children all find different ways to cope with the divorce.
Helen immerses herself in her studies.
Screenshot-28

Harold plays on the swings.
Screenshot-29

Hank chats about his family woes online…
Screenshot-30

And Hal does his homework on the front lawn.
Screenshot-31

Giles decides that ending a terrible relationship makes him hungry.
Screenshot-32

And brothers unite to support each other through these troubling times.
Screenshot-33
Although that is STILL not your bed, Hal.

And then, shortly after the divorce, Giles goes all-out EVIL.
Evil Giles
It IS his LTW, after all.

An then I sent Giles to check the mail and pay the bills, and Meredith has sent another one of these:
Aw...

It’d be rude not to write back, so…
Screenshot-34
ADORABLE!  TCTBE!!!

And then, the day is coming to an end – but it’s BIRTHDAY TIME!
Screenshot-35
Hal and Harold are ready to enter teenagedom.  YAY!  NO MORE BEDTIME STORIES!

Meredith shows up to celebrate with the children, and does what she does…
Screenshot-36
…Look adorable and think about Giles.

Hal celebrates under a full moon rising.
Screenshot-37
Love it!

But Harold went first, he gets to roll and adds ambitious to brave, light sleeper and hot-headed.  He’s way cute!
Screenshot-38
No really, he’s even better in CAS:
Screenshot-39
Adorbs!  Do you see though?  He has pinkish/purple streaks!  Great-Grandma Daisy throwback? I think so!  Where else would it come from?!?  Oh well, bottom line?  He’s pretty great for being a blonde not-girl!

Hal has his birthday too!
Screenshot-40
Too cute!…!…!…

…UNTIL
Screenshot-41
Who else sees a WHOLE LOTTA AL up in there?  He has star quality locked in, and he’s very comfortable with his new found confidence.

Alejandro Flashbacks.
Screenshot-42
Does he not look terrifying?  Maybe it’s just me.

He’s not much better in CAS:
Screenshot-44
He’s cuter, but that’s just because I’ve gave him decent clothing and hair.

But just when the party is coming to an end, Giles wants to chat with Meredith…
Screenshot-45
The car pool is honking, but chat first!

While Giles heads off to work, Hal shows us that, UGH, he is really Al’s son.  I’m sorry they have rhyming names.  I blame myself.
Screenshot-46

And he rages all over Flora… Just like daddy.
Screenshot-47
You scare me child.  We’ve had enough hate in the Zale house to last us a few generations.

On the plus side, Giles has been promoted and is rocking his new work outfit.
Screenshot-48

And in the background, I locate our beautiful Helen showing off her swimwear
Screenshot-49
I love Helen, and I hope she isn’t too overshadowed by her fathers’ drama.  She is stunning and spectacular.

Then Harold takes after our dearest TH and plays in the sandbox.
Screenshot-50
TOO CUTE!

Also, while Giles is off at work, I spot some ghosts in the Zale Family Plot:
Screenshot-51
Left to Right:  Eddie the dog, Cyrus, Gustave, and Erik!  Have we even seen Erik haunt yet?

Hi sweetie!
Screenshot-52
I miss you!  ❤

One very muscular Giles returns home from work in the wee hours, and decides to make breakfast for the family.
Screenshot-53
Look how buff he’s become!  All that exercise is paying off!  (I should take notes)

Hey, nice job buddy…
Screenshot-54
…those look awesome.

Giles:  Maybe I’ll eat some old cake
Screenshot-55
Good idea.

Giles and I invite Meredith over as soon as he’s slept off his night shift, and met his needs.  It’s always about 5 pm, before we can call her, but here she is!
Screenshot-56

And enough of this friendly banter!
Screenshot-57

Divine intervention is required!!!!!
Screenshot-58

Screenshot-59

Screenshot-60

Screenshot-61
🙂
GIMME!
Screenshot-62

And yet – as soon as I leave them alone, the immediately go back to friendly interactions…
Screenshot-63
They’re adorable – but are they just friends?!?

Funny Snip, by the way:
funny!
I had never seen this before.

And that was the end of their flirting.

But what’s this?!?  A LIMO?
Screenshot-64
IT’S PROM!

HANK!
Screenshot-65

HELEN!
Screenshot-66
(SEE HOW CUTE SHE IS?!?)

HAROLD!
Screenshot-67

HAL!
Screenshot-68

PROM!
Screenshot-69
(awfully dark limo) Limos, like the school bus, only seat three – so um… HANK, that’s the one, Hank didn’t make it in the limo picture.

Hank however, got Prom King, AND got involved with someone name Shanta.
This is Shanta as she exited Prom:
Screenshot-70
She’s cute enough.

Helen appeared to have a fantastic time…
helen woos helen
…with herself.
*Note: She came home with no acknowledgement of any other Sim named Helen.  It must’ve been a glitch.  Funny though!

She also was Prom Queen, I wonder if she got to dance with herself?  Or perhaps her brother?

And then prom was over, and here is our dear, sweet, Helen:
Screenshot-71

And terrible HAL.
Screenshot-72
EVIL!!!!

And a last fleeting look at our Helen.
Screenshot-73

I hope you guys liker has as much as I do!
Screenshot-74
Because I think she’s pretty special.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see if there is a future for Giles and Meredith!  But I know we’re all HAPPY to have said GOODBYE to Alejandro.  I will NEVER miss him.

Come back soon!  Until next time, HAPPY SIMMING!  ❤

PS:  If you aren’t reading Miss Wingless’ blog, you should be.  Good times to be had over there!  So scurry off right now and get to reading!  ❤

It’s crazy how terrible that man was. And with no real traits that caused it!
I mean, I’ve had inappropriate sims before and they were NOTHING like that.
Giles is one reason I hate the evil trait. 9 times out of 10…the ‘evil’ people aren’t evil. Al…he’d make the evil make sense. Giles, not so much.
Anyway, give him time with Meridith. They both are probably respecting each others boundaries because of the timing and stuff.

Lol helen. She is her own date.

I agree! I have NO idea why Alejandro was so mean. And yes, Giles is NOT evil, but his husband sure was through and through! Yeah, I’m not going to push Giles and Meredith, but I *am* going to mover her in as a roommate.

Helen really enjoyed “herself” at prom, ha ha.

P.S, I really think that high five should be under ‘funny’ and not ‘mean’. My Dad used to do that to me all the time, and though it got eye rollingly predictable (though I still played along) it was never more than that. It certainly wasn’t mean!

      2. Heather Post author

I KNOW I think it should be a funny too! Then people with “no sense of humor” could react negatively and people who are good natured and funny could get a good laugh.

    Yay Al’s GONE! 😀
And Helen is super adorable. I love how she took herself to the prom XD
Eeep Giles and Meredith is almost a reality!! I guess we’ll see how it goes from here, but either way I’m glad Al is out of the picture.

YES, no more Al is fantastic! And I’m so glad you like Helen! I’m looking forward to seeing more of her! 🙂

You’re right, Helen IS gorgeous! Glad to be rid of Al, but I wish Meredith would do some autonomous romantic interactions. Maybe Giles has his sexual preference still set to men? That might explain it.

Yeah, I think Giles just might not EVER want a woman that way, and you know, that’s fine with me too. But Meredith needs to move in. Whether we move her in to the portrait panel, or just as a roommate! We’ll see!

Hey maybe one of the kids will marry Meredith when they old enought if Giles doesn.’t want to to.Then you could get her into the family. Maybe Helen seeing as she is showing some weird get herself drunk traits. Better hide the bar or Helen may be spending a lot of time getting ‘juice’.

I’m actually sort of surprised that you din’t stick Al in a room with no doors and set fire to him in the end (because I would have *ahem*) I never see sims without the “appropriate” traits being so mean as he was, that’s really strange ;o But yeah, now you know. No more wannabe journalists in the family ;3

I can’t kill sims. It feels like – bad. I mean when I first got the game sure, I had tons of fun killing them in all kinds of different ways just to see what it was like, but after playing with any of them for any sort of period of time, I just can’t.

He’s gone, lovely. Good, good. I’m happy… now…. MEREDITH! Get your ass to Giles and put a ring on him ^^ Thank you. And Helen’s prom outfit was adorable!! Scary though that there’s so much Al still in Hal… o_O Scary *hides from Hal* don’t let his evil ways kill the family again!! :O

I felt the same way about Hal, but I also kind of liked him? It was weird… I really enjoyed Helen’s prom outfit too! It was so nice to be rid of Alejandro!

I always see people’s comments saying “I was reading this at work and ____ made me laugh out loud” and well… now I know the feeling. Helen sure took good care of Helen’s needs at prom. 😛

The “Heartwrenching Scene” moodlet thing confuses me: “Hopefully the two Sims can reconcile and find new love elsewhere…” One or the other EA, can’t both reconcile AND find new love elsewhere.

Anyway, yay, Al is gone! And I like the name Alejandro, so will continue to call him Al, because that’s a better evil name. I have seen Mean-Spirited sims autonomously slap someone, but never anyone else (not even Evil ones, they just scare people and steal candy). So random that Al would be so horrible. Must have a hidden Hot-Headed/Mean-Spirited trait.

Also, playing in the sandbox when an adult? So cute! And so not evil, Giles (whoops, that pic wasn’t in this post, but still true). These are the kinds of things I miss out on when micromanaging my sims lives. I shall make a note to allow more free will in my WYDC.

I know, the heart wrenching scene doesn’t make sense. I’ve noticed that before. It’s dumb. I also like the name Alejandro, I shortened it to “Al” for typing reasons, but I agree we’ll just call him Al from now on. AND I KNOW! I have never seen a Sim with trait’s like Al’s behave so terribly! Loves the Outdoors Sims can play in the sandbox as adults!
